Abstract We study the excitation of fluting perturbations in a magnetic tube by an initially imposed kink mode. use ideal magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations cold-plasma approximation. also thin-tube approximation and scale dependent independent variables accordingly. Then we assume that dimensionless amplitude mode is small it as expansion parameter regular perturbation method. obtain expression for boundary second-order This superposition sausage perturbations.
